Will bitcoin still be profitable in the future when most people might have understand it better to hodl bitcoin. I think bitcoin is gaining more adopters because people are getting to understand it better and I feel in the future people won't be worried about the volatility of bitcoin because they already know what the volatility of bitcoin is all about. If majority of the people hodl bitcoin in the future will it still be profitable as what it is today ?
Bitcoin will not cease to be profitable as long as people are bidding to buy and sell it, Bitcoin is highly speculative asset, News bad or good has an impact on the price, every long term holder has their target price to sell their shares, even if the holder has been holding his Bitcoin for 5 years he will eventually sell it because of the volatility of the market and for fear that he will have to wait longer for his targeted profit when its already in front of him.
I don't think there will be a point in time that Bitcoin will stop being profitable, the scarcity, adoption and the weakening trust on fiat will give Bitcoin a bargaining power.
