Wrong, you can still able to login with your banned account, but you can't post anymore.
Check the account status in BPIP.
I think there is a chance now for you to get unbanned, although it depends on what was the main Reason why you got banned initially but the forum had introduced a new rule to get second chance to banned members maybe you would qualify. Here is the guide

But, the second chance doesn't ask you which type violations you committed, there are 3 requirements to fill, the @OP fill the first and third requirement, but he didn't qualify for one good post on the forum. If you check his post history, you will find that he's an altcoins miners and then he switch to be a shitposter and creates generic posts.
