The club keeps making the same mistakes, and sometimes, I feel that the management is under a spell. The club had enough players that would have comfortably competed this season. But they are busy sending out their best players, such as Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, and even Raheem Sterling. I wouldn't drop Sterling for Joao Felix, the former is better than the Portuguese.
The only problem I knew Chelsea had last season was their inability to convert chances. They had some of the best players that were about to play good football, but most of the chances were wasted by mainly Nicolas Jackson. Enzo Maresca would have simply brought him a natural number nine and did some reshuffling to balance their financial standing. Now, the coach is allowing some young players who can be groomed to be the future stars of the club. I am pained to see him put players like Carney Chukwuemeka, Cesare Casadei, and Angelo Gabriel for sale.
With a large number of players, therefor this club has difficulty finding its best game. about Joao Felix who is now back at Chelsea cannot be a guarantee, but compared to the young players that Chelsea just bought, Joao Felix can be much better. He is willing to lower his salary very cheaply in order to be able to play at the club, so there is only one option that Joao Felix can do which is to give his best. However Chelsea problems are too many, not only about the players but this club is hit by management that cannot be trusted. Based on his first match, of course, many people were disappointed and blamed Todd Boehly for being too busy wasting money on useless players.
