Seriously I also don’t see Chelsea going higher than where they were last season. The club actually played a good game against Manchester city. The goals which is the most important thing in the game of football was what Manchester city had. Chelsea as usual or just like last season controlled the game but without a clinical striker just yet, they missed chances that would Have set Chelsea on the track to win the game. Fans will say it’s just the first game but I will say with way Chelsea played meant that without a proper striker they would be playing just like last season without results.
If their players can stay fit and not get injured I believe they might do better than they did last season but not by much. The problem with Chelsea if they don't know how to solve their problem. Against Manchester City, they had 2 big problems for 90 minutes. One was creating chances while the other was Scoring the few chances they created. Now seeing these problems, how did Chelsea react? They went to sign Jaoa Felix. How exactly is that going to solve anything? Felix is a very inconsistent player. Don't let his highlight fool you. He is more of a moment of magic kind of player. He will do things that will make you think he's kaka one minute, but for the rest of the games, he will be awful till another moment of magic comes up again.
Well, I think they're about the complete the Osimhen and Lukaku transfer with Napoli, if they works out then Chelsea will be getting a good striker. He may not be as technical as the strikers above him but he will fit into this Chelsea team quite well.
