I see no similarities between AI and meme coins. The supply opf memecoins is often in trillions and billions, the purpose behind this enormous supply is to make them attractive buying for newcomers with their affordability, and memecoins often lack real-life utility. On the other hand, AI is powerful sector with strong utility of its coins and their supply is limited, that is why I consider them worth investing for long term to potentially make substantial gains.
only very few AI actually holds real life utility though, so many project using term AI just for the buzzword and marketing purpose that at some point it will lose its meaning.
there are so many overly inflated valuation of AI based project which if you care to take a look a little bit deeper its just a wrapper for AI api provided by the big tech companies.
which in my opinion isn't even worth 5% of their current valuation.
the real AI project that actually deliver though like RNDR, IO, and so on, does contribute a lot to the integration of blockchain to provide computational power for the masses. so I could agree with both, AI and meme coin is so diluted with low quality project but with AI narrative at least there's still some good projects.
