There is a lot to watch for at Chelsea as they navigate a new season and a new manager it may take time to see how they can adapt to each other, Chelsea may have lost the first game but we know their opponent is Manchester City and Chelsea still have many games left. I still believe that Chelsea still have the ability to compete in the top 4 at least we will wait until mid season, are you sure Chelsea will get a ticket to the Champions League next season?
Almost many of us said that Chelsea looked so weak when facing Manchester City, but actually we forgot that Manchester City were much more consistent because they faced the season with much better preparation.
Chelsea have to evaluate many things and maybe because in the opening game they had to face a strong team so the pressure on them was much greater, especially after making a change of coach.
Competing in the top four really depends on how the coach can combine his players.
The most important thing is how to build player confidence to remain consistent and I also feel that the coach should be given time to prove it instead of the opposite, pressuring because of the reason for the defeat in the first game.
