Mood swings when we are negatively effected by the results of our gambling. It it normal. But how we take care of them is up to us.
I think most gamblers will experience the same thing but how they handle it is where it goes differently. We cannot let our emotions get the better of us and the only way to prevent this from happening is by accepting that we are going to lose in the long run.
These is where a plan must be projected because what will happen next is not in our hands especially in casino games where we are relying on the algorithm that will be provided for us.
It's not really mood swings which is different from stress or depression that we are talking and this is what I am trying to say cause now we have exposure to lot of information that clogs up our mind and it's only a medical practitioner can figure out not from Google results.
Experiencing disappointment after losing is very normal but how long we carry that it's in our hands, we can sleep it through then it's okay but if we let that thing keep growing up then overtime it will lead to lot of complications and one of them is depression.
Oh okay, now I understand. That's if we let it grow to that point.
We must learn how to let go and accept that we are going to lose against the house. That's how the system was made and the only thing to avoid depression is to suck it up and learn from the experience.
I have lost a lot but I have never been to a point where I would say I am depressed. Sure, I get frustrated by the thought of unfairness but I always tell myself that it is how gambling works and I must accept that.
After a day or two I will try to forget about it. Play like I am in a new game and just forget about the losses that happened because we cannot live with the past or else it's going to wreck us.
