Chelsea is still under transformation and one should expect the unexpected from them because they are still trying to adapt to the new change in their playing pattern. Since last season Chelsea have being inconsistent and few months to end the season, they were picking form but all that was in vain the moment Pocchetino was fired.
The long transformation comes from their new owner's lack of capability to manage the club well in sports management. He does not lack of money and actually signed a lot of money for the club's spending in player transfer and compensation fee to sacked coach like Tuchel, Pochettino. Boehly will need to hire a better sports director and scouts to discover good players for the club. They need to find young players to save money from transfers and aim at longer future with them. But to do it better, they need changes with new people who are responsible for these positions.
The problem is still lingering in the club and has not been taken care of which is a good striker that is a good finisher. Chelsea can run around with the ball from post to post, coast to coast but scoring is a big problem for the blues. I hope they get a good striker and take advantage of their chances of winning their opponents.
Chelsea shown some strong performances in late of last season and gave some hope for their come back this season but their problems at a striker position is undeniable. It appeared in the past season and it seems it has yet been fixed in this summer and they will move forward through this season with not too good strikers.
