Chelsea is still under transformation and one should expect the unexpected from them because they are still trying to adapt to the new change in their playing pattern. Since last season Chelsea have being inconsistent and few months to end the season, they were picking form but all that was in vain the moment Pocchetino was fired.
The problem is still lingering in the club and has not been taken care of which is a good striker that is a good finisher. Chelsea can run around with the ball from post to post, coast to coast but scoring is a big problem for the blues. I hope they get a good striker and take advantage of their chances of winning their opponents.
I would say there is no shortage of talented players in Chelsea's squad. But the coach is not able to use these players properly. Also the bonding between the players is weak. Chelsea forwards have talented players like Joao Felix, Sterling, Neto, Mudryk, Lukaku and Fofana. Every player here is talented enough. Even so, we don't see good performances from Chelsea's attacking players.
How Chelsea will perform this season depends on Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca. If Enzo can develop a stable match strategy, and improve the chemistry between the players, Chelsea are likely to see better gameplay. However, it will be very difficult for Chelsea to qualify for the Champions League.
