Nope, there’s no reason to continue gambling if you can’t control your emotions. That’s the most important thing to consider, because even if we learn and develop strategies, without proper implementation, we’ll still lose in the long run, and worse, we might lose more than we can afford. That’s why it’s always emphasized to gamble responsibly, which means only gambling with what we can afford to lose.

Gambling is for risk-takers who are strong and know how to manage their emotions. If we don’t possess that quality, it’s safe to say that gambling isn’t for us, and we should choose another form of entertainment to stay safe.
You are right because when you become emotional in anything, including when you playing gambling, you can not thinks clear about your decision and that can makes you decide in rush without thinks more. You will still playing gambling without think about your losses and when you lose more, your emotional will becomes high and you will lose control.

Our situation will become worst because we lose our money and lose control when playing gambling so that will makes us in a bad situation. Yes, playing gambling responsible will always be recommended so we don't have to become emotional because that will attract us to have more losses. Playing gambling can make you lose control so that is why we must learn about self control to prevents anything that can lead us to have more losses.
