Yeah this generation of kids are smarter and learn faster than you can imagine and most times they learn from what they see you do.and as a parent or guardian being responsible or not it's not advisable to do some certain things from this young ones because what they tend to learn fast is negative and wrong things.

So she seeing you play blackjack and later she wants to try it isn't new to her anymore cause she feels she's seen you and had learnt few tips to go about it,so mostly when gambling you should be far from your kids or engage them with something better to keep them away from the picture till your done gambling.
Sometimes you won't know what these young children are capable of doing until you watch them do it. I am usually amazed at how my nephew know the password to my phone even when I try to hide it from them. You will think they are not observing you but they are closely monitoring.  And they are smarter in using technological tools. So we need to be more careful.

When talking about gambling and kids, people should focus on teaching and giving right experience, than focus on possible addiction or focus on negative emotions. If a person thinks only about bad, exactly that thing is going to happen.
Teaching children about gambling should depend mainly on the age of the child. Children that are below 12 years and have no interest in gambling shouldn't be be exposed to gambling by their parents. You can only discuss it with them only if they asked questions or are exposed to it in school or through other means. It will be better not to gamble before them because they learn largely by observation.

But when you child is a teenagers, they should he unexposed to gambling and the dangers of addiction. At this age one can teach them how gambling works but don't encourage them to gamble. If they have gotten to gambling age and decide to gamble, that's okey but teach them how to be responsible.
