Osimhen to Chelsea? It goes beyond only the money, people. Napoli is caught in a bind. Their season starts out unevenly, and they need a change-of direction. Disappearing Osimhen? That is gut-bashing. However, if Chelsea is serious, Napoli must play this wisely. Lukaku returning to Napoli? Though it's a risk, it might be the key. Conte seeks a target guy; Lukaku meets that criteria. It also maintains Napoli in the championship race
Napoli has to move quickly. Every day Osimhen is in limbo, it serves as diversion. The team's confidence falls just about here. This concerns Napoli's whole season, not only about one player. They must decide now since they have to do it. Dilly-dallying is over. We need some leadership right now
If in the end Chelsea and Napoli can be relieved by not complicating the release clause in the end they will move easily.
The reason Lukaku is still at Chelsea and Osimhen has not left despite their desire to leave the club they are currently defending is because the benchmark for the release clause set is so large that it disrupts the negotiations that make them stay even though they really want to leave.
If in the end this is allowed, I think it is difficult because Lukaku will not get a place at Chelsea and likewise Osimhen even though he remains at Napoli as a line up but with the conditions he has now it is difficult for Osimhen to give his best performance.
If only Napoli and Chelsea set a reasonable clause for this player then I think everything will become easier.
