I believe that restrictions for a person of absolutely any age are very important. We all know what the abuse of sweets, gambling, alcohol, even sports leads to. Everything needs to be in moderation, otherwise over time it leads to problems.
If parents do not limit their children in a reasonable measure, then most likely such children are prone to selfishness, and this will affect not only the future life of the child, but also his environment - primarily his parents.
That's correct.
In moderation or maybe not try it at all when it comes to drugs or gambling. As much as possible we let our kids be innocent about these things but the internet won't let us do that because every piece of information is out there right now and there's no stopping it. They will bump into it one way or another so it's better if we are the ones explaining it to them before they even make the mistake.
As a parent, I think that's one of our responsibilities and I believe we cannot just let it slide, or else it will be trouble for us in the future when we are too late to stop it anymore.
If I become a parent, of course I will not let my child get to know gambling or others first before earning their own money, I will not show that I also play gambling in front of my child or even I allow it with reasonableness in the future in the child's growth period.
Even if it is indeed a range with the ease of information in the media, in my opinion, as a parent it is necessary to limit them with the money they manage, and give money only for school supplies with more limited money rather than excessive, because if giving excessive money to them will make them more money and have many opportunities to use that money with other things including gambling, drugs and other things that are negative for the development of my child.
