I agree with you, it's better to use password-managers allowing to generate secured different secured password for every websites you use, and you can safely use the one from your browser(Google Chrome for example) for websites using 2FA or not critical ones.
But if you can't do that (or don't want to) you use a convenient feature for Bitcointalk preventing to forget your BTT password
