Unfortunately, making predictions gets more and more difficult each time, I am sorry you lost your bet, there will be time to get your satisfaction back, we have so many games to bet on. As for a favourite team I think the pretenders could be Roma, Manchester united and Porto

Good choices there.  Smiley  By the way it feels really awkward to see Porto competing in the Europa League directly. We have been used to watching them in the Champions League for years. They are really tough nut to crack even in the CL. Roma doesn't have Mourinho anymore. You know how successful he was in European competitions. But I hope De Rossi also does a good work to become a title contender.

Lastly Manchester United... I see them as one of the strongest teams in the EL now. But they couldn't start the PL well. This makes me question their future once again...

I think Daniele De Rossi will be talked about well in Europe, it's still too early to tell but I think Roma can fight to get at least to the semi-finals. Of the three teams I've chosen, I think Porto are the most dangerous and as you said, they are tough to beat, and you know that in the Champions League too. Manchester United always start badly lately but then they bounce back, we'll see what they are made of this year.
When De Rossi came to Roma, it was like a spark. Their goal is obviously European success. The improvement of last season was not haphazard. Under De Rossi, the team is displaying fresh degrees of tactical discipline and intensity. Make it to the semi-finals. That is not a pipe dream.

Porto, though, is a strong opponent. Their Champions League resume speaks for itself. In knockout situations especially, they are quite deadly. The slow start by Manchester United? Maybe this is a premeditated action. Unquestionably, their late-season surge history is remarkable. This season seems to have exciting comebacks and tactical chess games. But I doubt it since Ten Hag in charge
