A good signing for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal, he will bring good contributions to the team especially in the midfield and will help Odegard and other midfielders to help Arsenal create more chances in the team. I will be expecting Arsenal to give jersey number 8 so that Odegard will be using the jersey number 10 since Smith Rowe has left the team.
Much will be expected from this new signing of Arsenal and playing form the midfield which is a very delicate position in the pitch, he’ll have to do extra work if he wants to be utilized and played more often by the coach. He’ll be given the chance as a new player but if he’s unable to play as they want him, he may not have a good season at Arsenal. With his previous stats at Real Soceidad, I’m certain he can do more and contribute well to Arsenal’s midfield.
A significant win for Chelsea. It not only gives them 3 points but also reduces the burden on their coach. Enzo Maresca still has a lot to prove because the season has only just started but at least with their first win it can make Chelsea more confident. Chelsea has had poor performances in the last few seasons, so it's very reasonable if their board and fans have quite high expectations this season, so Maresca really has a big burden to bear.
With the way Chelsea started this season, they’ve given their fans and the management high hopes on them to be able to go far in the league this season after a miserable season in the past. As they have a new coach on board, expectations are high on him to be able to deliver the team above what they finished last season. The big win yesterday was a very good one for them, opportunities like this are meant to be utilized in order to have high number of goals that will compliment for them in the future later maybe when their win rate becomes lower.
