While I do agree that Mclaren made a great car, look at who came in third, not Piastri is the clue that we are looking for. While it is great that Lando managed to get the win, it is not clear if Mclaren has enough to beat Max, because we know that Red Bull is slower than Mclaren these days, but we are not sure by how much, we also know Max is a wonderful driver, probably the best on the track right now, so the gap must be smaller.

I think with any given race, one bad pit stop, one bad tire decision, one rain, everything changes completely. It doesn't even have to be an accident, we are just looking at something smaller, even a few seconds slower pit stop, something jammed for a split second, could decide the drivers completely.

So all in all, I still think that Max has a very high chance, he has the advantage of making a mistake and still recover, Lando can't make a single mistake, he has to keep winning and we all know he can't be that dominant right now, the car is good but not that good.
