He is as good a buy as Nico Williams who they wanted. It has not taken him anytime to settle into the team and that is good indication that he will have a good season.
My guess is that barcelona want a squad like Spain and they were trying to get them together, since they won Euro they feel they can archieve more with such squad... but I think two is still fine if they can't get the three they wanted, all needed is string communication.
But just after extending the contract of Álex Valle, he left Barcelona and he is going to play for Celtic on loan.
They needed to give them more time of playing I think, they can just put them all on bench, more experience will make them better once they return (if they aren't thinking of selling them though) IMO. I guess it's just the best way to keep them on form instead of making them benchers.
Seriously Barcelona fans can now see the difference between an experienced and in experience manager, not to take credit away from Xavi, he did well in his first Season and had a mix second and third seasons which to me was as a result of inexperience. With Hansi flick Barcelona look like a different team and there is no much changes to the players that he inherited, only the debutant Olmo was a new face.
Well I won't ruch to give him much credit as he's just starting his journey in Barcelona he's good , Xavi did more in his early resumption as coach for the club .... however, I have a feeling that he will be a better coach
