Right. Problems at Chelsea FC are not just because of coaches especially Pochettino. He is being blamed unfairly. Real issue is with owner who does not let coaches make their own decisions about players. This has caused problems with team and led to bad signings.
Tuchel was successful because he had good team built by Lampard and got support from Abramovich. He had freedom to make important decisions. Pochettino on the other hand took over team without leaders and had less freedom to make decisions. And this is right that current board is causing problems not Pochettino. They are making bad choices that will hurt club in the future.
So true. The real problem is not Pochettino and that is very clear. In fact, last season Pochettino actually made quite a big contribution because he was able to bring Chelsea to finish in 6th place. It was not an easy job after in the previous year Chelsea were only able to finish in 12th place. But Pochettino came and he built the squad back to be better. Finishing in 6th place is proof that Pochettino is actually a very reliable coach. And if he had more time at Chelsea then I'm sure this season Chelsea could develop even better. But unfortunately he was only at Chelsea for one season. Well, I hope the club owner doesn't make a hasty decision again with the current coach. because even a big team like Arsenal was in decline when Arteta first arrived. And Arteta actually managed to improve Arsenal after several seasons of being trusted at the club.
