I believe there are many gamblers here in the forum who regularly share their wins and losses. But I'm curious—has it ever crossed your mind to consider becoming a professional gambler, someone who makes a living out of it and enjoys a life of financial freedom?
It always pops out of my mind to make gambling as a source of income but per experience it is very hard to rely on gambling as we will not always win, there are times that no matter how hard you try to win but if luck is not on your side, you always lose.
Yes, that's one downside of it, and if you look at professional poker players though, maybe in the beginning, they never thought that they will go and become pro and could just started playing to have some fun.
But when they realized that they can make money from it, that is the only time that they try and see how it goes for them. And I'm also under the impression that those playing in pro tour could have amassed a lot of money already and so even if they lose or never land in the top 10 or no money reward, they can still go on with their lives. In short they don't look at this as their source of income.
