We have the same thought. Since Arsenal failure in the previous 2 seasons I have always said that Arsenal failure to win the EPL title was due to Arteta failure to maintain team consistency. This is indeed the biggest problem but Arteta still repeated this problem last season which should have been better because Man City last season had a tighter schedule to chase the UCL title. I had thought that maybe one way Arteta could deliver the EPL title was just by not focusing too much on chasing the UCL. And focus on rotating players in every match to maintain the players' physical and mentality so that they can maintain their performance so as not to lose points in every match.
Arsenal came very near to Premier League title last season when the played better than two seasons ago. It shown Arsenal improvement that gives them belief that if they can continue doing this, they will come nearer to the title this season. If they can do that and if they're lucky enough, they will be able to take over the crown from Manchester City and become a savior in Premier League.
In the last 7 seasons, only Liverpool can beat Manchester City and Arsenal will be a second club can do this and temporary break domination of Manchester City. Arsenal will try in Champions League too because that competition brings a lot of money if they can go far. However Arsenal must pick either Premier League or Champions League as their main target because their player resource does not allow them to play well in both competitions.
