everyone, It's time.

This project has not been active for quite some time. We had a great start in 2021. Unfortunately, as I previously posted, competing obligations pulled the team away from the project.

I did what I could for the project in finding a new developer after I stepped away. But, they also had other obligations they had to attend to. My hope was that I would be able to find time to devote to Buntu but its not looking like a possibility any time soon.

It's time to let Buntu go, friends. I love this project. But its time to let it go.

Buntu is a decentralized network. Anyone can run it. It can't be shut down by me, only the community itself. It only requires seed nodes (a block explorer is helpful too) that anyone can run. Anyone can fork the repository and continue the project on their own.

If you're a new developer, or just a community member who wants to run the project, I can provide advice on the technical aspects of what needs to be done to keep the project running. I am willing to do so, time permitting.

Because it's decentralized, I will leave the Discord server running for several days. If someone approaches me interested in taking over the project, I will hand the project and Discord server over to them. If not, I will be deleting the Discord server and Telegram channel. Please consider this my final notice on that matter.

I want to thank every one of you that believed this project. I am truly saddened that the project has come to an end. Thank you for being part of the journey.
