What an excellent performance by the West Indies team. South Africa gave the target of 109 runs due to rain and seven overs reduced per side 13. Overs match was played. Tristan Stubbs played a 40 runs innings by facing fifteen balls. From the West Indies side Romario Shepherd took two wickets. West indies chased down the target with loss of 2 wickets brilliant batting by West Indies batsman they save their wickets which gave benefit to put pressure on the bowling side Nicholas Pooran scored 42 runs innings while Shai Hope played an unbeaten innings of 42 runs and helped his team to winning this match west indies won this match by 8 wickets and whitewashed South Africa totally bad performance by guest team in whole series they could not won any single match
Exactly the performance was just marvelous. First of all the important part of part of the match that the match shrunk to the 13 overs. But we know that there were the Legends of T20 means West Indies and they made thi short match more exciting. That is the huge score which they made in 9.2 overs. Means there runrate was 12.42 and that is a huge run rate. Overall I enjoyed the match. Because that was an amazing match.
In such matches, those who chase have a higher chance of winning. Those who bat first tend to try to play the entire 20 overs, which is why they cannot be as aggressive as the opposition. South Africa also played reasonably well. They managed to score 108 runs in 13 overs. If they had been given the opportunity to play the full 20 overs, they might have gone closer to 200 as they had enough wickets in hand. But there is no chance to say that they are safe even after scoring 200 runs because opposite is T20 king team West Indies. However, if a complete over was played, the match results could have changed. But since they have not won a single T20 match in this series, West Indies team is undoubtedly the best.
West Indies is a dominant force in T20 cricket and the form they are in, they can win against any opposition. Yes, the team batting second in a rain-affected match has a slightly higher chance of winning, but if a team knew that there would be rain and the DLS would apply, they should have played with more intent. In the form the South African team was in, I don't think they would have scored 200 if they batted for a complete 20 over quota (in that situation, the target would have been somewhere around 170 runs). You are ignoring that WI chased down the target in just 9.2 overs, what would they do if they had 11 more overs to bat? The South African team looked off-colour in the T20I series and they missed the services of a few of their batters.
