Mason Greenwood's career nearly hit the rock because of the case of attempted rape, assault and coercive and controlling behaviour. He got a lifeline when key witnesses decided not to cooperate with investigators and the case was dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). Against all odds like protests from Marseille fans Roberto De Zerbi believed in the English striker. The Italians vowed to defend Greenwood as a son and looks like the Italian coach made the right decision. Three goals from two games is a historic performance by a Marseille player and if he continues this way, he will celebrated in Ligue One.   
Usually, players who are involved in scandals will find it difficult to continue their careers because they will receive a lot of criticism from the club they will defend and they have to turn a deaf ear to it in order to continue their football career because they are only 22 years old so it would be a shame if their careers were ruined while they have the talent to show their abilities.
The interim results are quite good, I hope he can continue like that so that people's hatred of him turns into praise, he might be able to become a new star in League 1 replacing Mbappe if he can continue to score goals in every match.
