After Mbappe left PSG, I thought PSG would be an average team again and other teams would be able to match them. But 2 wins with 10 goals and 1 conceded made me think that this season it seems like PSG has become a solid team and plays collectively as a team, not just making one person as a target man. PSG's gameplay in the first 2 league matches really surprised me. It was beyond my expectation. The next match is against LOSC, a team that also collected 6 points. It will be an interesting match. But it seems that with PSG's current performance it will still be difficult for other teams to beat their dominance in Ligue 1.
Without Mbappe, PSG is still fine. This is true, at least for now. PSG has now become a team "richer in team spirit, despite having fewer stars" and coach Luis Enrique is taking the first steps towards satisfactory results. The key to PSG's rise is the speed and technique of the attacking trio - Ousmane Dembélé - Marco Asensio - and Bradley Barcola. Notably, a star emerged with an impressive performance, contributing nearly 1/3 of the team's total goals (Bradley Barcola), a 21-year-old French talent.
Another reason why PSG is still a strong team in this tournament is that most Ligue 1 teams are struggling when Mpappe leaves. After Kylian Mbappe left, many Ligue 1 teams faced financial difficulties due to reduced television rights revenue. However, PSG's situation is the opposite. PSG is still "healthy" after parting ways with the French striker. The consequences for the entire league have been seen, with very few clubs able to spend money on new players in the transfer market.
In round 3, PSG promises to have more difficulty when visiting Lille - the team that finished fourth last season. This game will help us make sure PSG is fine without Mbappe.
