To be fair, if we all bought then how could it go down, so there must be some people who are not long term holders to make the price go down, so we long term holders could buy some of it, and make some money.
But if none of us sell bitcoins, how can we buy them? If you want to buy, you need to have sellers, so don't blame those who are selling bitcoin and say they are the reason the market is down.
The idea that everyone should just buy and hold and no one should sell is also a bad idea because then the market will stop working and even crash. A healthy financial market is one where there is always buying and selling, and that is how financial markets work.
I like it when people can't hold and sell, it gives me cheap discounted bitcoin to buy.
This may seem harsh but that is the nature of financial markets, if we want to buy bitcoin cheaper then we need to have more people selling their bitcoin in a panic. That's why I never wonder or feel confused when more people sell bitcoin every time the market corrects.
