Even though westerners’ money is valued higher in these countries, their economies have been growing ever since so it does present high hopes and great opportunities.

Its geography is also very strategic being the point of trades. However as an investor you also need to know that a lot of these south east asian countries have very unstable and tensed political systems. A lot of their governments are corrupt and have bad policies. Take your time to research and decide if it is all worth it.
