Arteta understands what football is to the public. If you want to win the Premier League right now, its not about how many goals you are able to score in a match its about winning each game throughout the league and that is what Pep Guardiola has been doing right from the start of Manchester City. Right now Arsenals defense is stronger than what it is before, Arteta still bought more midfielders who can hold the ball for long and shoot when necessary. This is how they can win the league. When they concede less goal and win all the matches.
That doesn't seem to be the pattern of Guardiola's coaching style. In my opinion, winning the Premier League is all about goals and how often a team can win its games, if a team can't score many goals, I don't think that will help them win the league. Last season, Manchester City and Arsenal finished with the same number of goals, so, if Manchester City and Arsenal finish with the same points, but Manchester City has the most goals, they will win the league title with the advantage of having more goals, so, goals and winning the matches are more important to winning the league. However, Arsenal scored a lot of goals and conceded less last season, but it didn't help them to win the league because there's no consistency in their games.
Furthermore, I think that all we should be expecting from Arsenal this season is that they should not lose the important games that will help them to maintain the top of the league, as they did in previous years, Arsenal started the season strong, and many people think that it will be the year to break the curse of failing to win a title. However, we're going to wait and see what happens, maybe after adding more midfield players, we'll see some changes.
