I know this is a bit off topic for me to ask here, but I've always wondered if Urdu and Persian (Farsi) use the same alphabet. Because they both have a few more letters than in Arabic.
So if anyone of you above can enlighten me on this, I would appreciate it. Of course I know they spell words completely differently as two different languages.
I think the both languages Urdu and Persian use the Arabic script as their base. This script is written from right to left but the difference is that Persian has several letters not found in Arabic and same is the case with Urdu language, but yes they do have many common alphabets too. However this does not mean that if you know Urdu, you can understand Persian and also vice versa, knowing urdu only will not make you understand Persian.

Has Pakistan had a local board before? Maybe the local board is now crowded or spoilt, and then you had to request for a new one. If no, the caption should be
