There are plenty of problems within Madrid's squad right now. Every player in Madrid's squad is very talented. Madrid has the best squad in La Liga. But the problem is Madrid's attack. The bonding between Madrid's attacking players is weak. And I'd say the problem arose after Mbappe joined the squad.
Vini and Rodrygo were in Madrid's attack last season. Bellingham helped strengthen the bonding of attacking players with the midfield. But since Mbappe's arrival in the squad, Ancelotti has had to make changes to his match tactics and formation. The players are yet to adapt well to the new match strategy and formation. This is why we saw poor gameplay from Madrid in all three matches.
Mbappe is a talented player but he is a bit selfish. He is keen to score goals but not keen to assist. Its negative impact is also likely to be seen in Madrid's overall performance. Madrid wants to be stronger as a team. Ancelotti will not base his match strategy on Mbappe alone. This is why Madrid's overall performance will take some time to stabilize.
Exactly my thought as well. The squad is very solid more than any club you can think of in LA Liga but the attack is very weak. They are just showcasing too much of skills with little or no strike at all. Although, I know Las Palmas have always been a stubborn team at home but Real madrid had every chance to win that game with even a huge scoreline but everyone was busy showing off their tallent.
Sadly, they seem to be satisfied with the performance and how they keep dropping points to increase the gap between them and the table toppers. What they have in their forward as players don't want to play together. The three of their forwards are quite selfish and if they don't get that fixed ASAP, they are not going anywhere this season.
