Leverkusen and Bayern Munich are completely different. The Leverkusen squad lacks star players. So it was a bit easier for Xabi to control the players. The players respected and trusted Xabi. And perhaps that's why we saw such great performances from the Leverkusen team last season.
I am eager to see the performance of Leverkusen this season and it was breathtaking to see them resume the season with the energy of victory. They won their first game and seems to have gotten prepared to win tomorrow's game too. I see the coming of Leverkusen as a jinx breakers and as a club that's prepared for big things. The club knows how to manage the resources they have effectively to achieve good results without necessarily needing the effect of a star player within the team. I see them as the Germany in club side as they seem to work same way as the national team did in the past.
