Klopp started well last season and was hoping Liverpool could do well in either the English Premier League or the Europa League, but the late performances have been underwhelming. It was beyond our expectation that they would suddenly perform so badly at the end. This season Klopp left Liverpool and a new manager took charge of Liverpool but in many tactics we see Liverpool using Klopp's tactics. Klopp has basically been in charge of Liverpool for a long time and every player is familiar with his tactics so it is not possible for a manager to suddenly come in and change the entire strategy of the club. Whoever is currently in charge of Liverpool will be expected to at least perform better this season than last season for Liverpool.
It was a less than impressive end for Jurgen Klopp when he left Liverpool, a decline in performance towards the end of the season made Liverpool unable to win the EPL and Europa League titles. Jurgen Klopp has left the club, now Arne Slot takes over his position. Liverpool's performance under Slot is still the same as when handled by Jurgen Klopp, the players who are used to the tactics used by Klopp will combine with the tactics currently used by Slot. Liverpool will try to compete with Manchester City and Arsenal in the title race, Arne Slot certainly has no trouble handling Liverpool because the players can quickly understand the strategy he has used since the season started.
I see Arne Slot using Liverpool coaching method with tactics and strategies that are actually not much different from Klopp coaching method, this is what makes Liverpool not seem to experience significant decline in performance after the change of coach.
Arne Slot made the right decision by combining how the previous performance was with what he implemented to be able to improve Liverpool performance slowly and all the core players that Klopp previously had are now all still there so that Liverpool can still perform consistently.
Last season Liverpool mistake was when they entered the end of the season there was decline in performance and loss of confidence which made them unable to perform consistently, hopefully something like this can be lesson and in the future Liverpool can maintain their performance until the competition is really over.
