The match has been going on for 20 minutes, but the score is still 0-0. Arsenal appeared more dominant and they also had more chances, but Brighton could defend quite well so far. This means that Brighton now has quite a troublesome strength, Arsenal looked difficult to penetrate the defense built by Fabian Hürzeler as a new coach he managed to present an effective strategy. I was quite surprised because Arsenal were favored to win, but a draw was not what Arteta wanted.
Rice's red card at the start of the second half was a little disturbing so this made Arsenal reduce the intensity of their attacks even though for the first half they were quite good and even took the lead through Kai Havertz but by losing 1 player at the start of the second half made Arteta inevitably look for other options for their defense because they lost in number of players.
What makes this a regret is that the situation that occurred which resulted in the red card was an unnecessary situation because indeed seeing from what happened it could actually be minimized if Rice could control the conditions and emotions a little even though it was in a hot condition in terms of tension but this red card actually did not need to happen if the incident and the extra movements made were not out of line.
In the end they had to share 1 point in this match even though this was still quite good for both teams but I think if the red card did not happen then Arsenal might get 3 points in today's match.
