The season we all await for is finally here and Bayern Leverkusen still has continued their unbeaten record last season on the German Bundesliga side, the question will now be, would they continue this journey until the end of the season? Like the way they went unbeaten last season, I doubt. However, nothing much has really changed as regards to their performance, and I haven't seen any sign of weakness to not win their next game.
It won't be easy for Leverkusen and I'm sure they won't be able to do it again this season because Bayern's team has improved quite a bit so it will be a threat for Leverkusen.
And also this week Leverkusen will face a tough opponent, RB Leipzig is a team that is difficult to beat so I think at the beginning of this season we don't need to exaggerate or measure Leverkusen's strength like last season, I'm sure there will be a difference compared to last season for Leverkusen and also other Bundesliga teams.
Against RB Leipzig this week I think Leverkusen's percentage to win is not that big.
Early on Leverkusen encounters some fierce competition. Bayern seems more robust, while RB Leipzig is typically a difficult nut to break. Let us not yet count Leverkusen, though. Their staff is strong, mostly the same one that did in previous season. Their weakness is not consistency. Last year, they showed us they could go toe-to-toe with anyone.
Speaking of Bayern. They did indeed beat Wolfsburg, but it was a close one. Lets have them compile a couple more victories before we name them champs. Leverkusen depends critically on this next game against Leipzig. One could consider home field advantage as a real game-changer. A win there would convey a statement and provide the impetus they require.
