Wait guys, it seems like this deal is over and Al-Ahli have got their new striker. He is Ivan Toney from Brentford and surely we are familiar with him because we often see him playing in the EPL. He is also part of the England national team and I think Al-Ahli are good enough even though they failed to get Osimhen.
You're right. Al Ahli successfully signed Ivan Toney. He is one of good strikers in EPL, he is also still 28 years old. Sure, Al Ahli did a great job by signing this player because it is very possible that he will play well in Saudi league. I am a bit surprised that Al Ahli signs him because I don't hear much rumor that Al Hilal is interested in him.

The fee spent by Al-Ahli is around £40m and I think it is much less than Osimhen's fee. Everything is done and just waiting for Ivan Toney to come to Arabia this week as an introduction to Al-Ahli's new players. Anyway, I am quite curious why Osimhen is thinking too much considering the deal with Chelsea has ended and on the other hand he also did not give an answer to Al-Ahli.
According to transfermarkt, the transfer fees was £42m. Yes, it is much cheaper than Osimhen and it was below the market value of Ivan Toney. Al Hilal have negotiated well, they could sign a top striker at a very reasonable price. Since Al Ahli signed Ivan Toney, I am not sure if it is possible for Osimhen to join Al Ahli, too. Ivan Toney and Osimhen have the same position, they are a striker. They can't play together.

Anyway, Ivan Toney becomes one of the most expensive players in Saudi league now.
