the ecosystem is at the level of etheruem in term of maturity, kamino as one of solana protocol in lending could be said already building reputation as good as AAVE it's just matters of time.
if any, solana would be the one thing that gonna replace ETH if ETH ever fall in term of rank, since ETH ETF inflow has been really bad since the past days (and yeah it's really bad literally 0 inflow yesterday) I think the chance for solana to be the one to take eth's crown will be big.
While I do see Solana's potential, it's still quite a distance from Ethereum's level. If we look at the TVL, Ethereum currently has about 8x more than Solana. The same kind of disparity exists between Kamino and AAVE. Solana needs to attract significantly more volume and users, especially institutional investors and whales, to close that gap.
As for the recent Ethereum ETF inflows, it actually suggest a broader challenge for all altcoins, including Solana. If Ethereum is struggling to attract interest, it's hard to see a future where a Solana ETF (if it ever exist) would fare much better. Right now, institutional interest seems to be focused primarily on Bitcoin.
