It is also the first loss for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga since May 2023.

It is still an insane record to maintain of course. More than a whole year.

The magical run has come to an end but of course this doesn't point to anything such as the start of a bad form. I still see that dedication in the players' eyes. They never give up and want this back-to-back title. Losing some more points than last season would also help us watch a more competitive season too. I want Bayern Munich and Dortmund in it like I said before.
Bayern Leverkusen played badly in the second half. I have no complaints about their first-half performance. But, the second half was terrible to watch. Their striker, Boniface has been really really bad in this game. He was unable to make a proper finish after he got a golden chance. And our defense isn't that good. They play so openly. It lets Leipzig exploit gaps in Leverkusen's defense.

Also, the loss to Leipzig has ruined Xavi Alonso's unbeaten record with his team. I was expecting him to reach Pep or Heynckes level, but it was wrong. That's sad Xabi's unbeaten record must end this fast.
