I could only imagine what xabi will be feeling like having to experience his second defeat as a Coach at Bayer Leverkusen, something he has experienced only once since he resumed as a coach at Leverkusen and that was at the end of the games in last season, a final which was almost quite understandable, as for the yesterday's defeat, it was quite unfortunate because Leverkusen took the lead much earlier but couldn't maintain it for the longest to get them still ahead as we would want them to be, nevertheless, this is literally going to serve as an interim for xabi and he's going to understand the magnitude of this season and probably going to improve on getting his defense to to their form so as not to suffer similar situations again this season because if they do it's going to affect them a long way.It is still an insane record to maintain of course. This was a sign that the team had some defensive problems but as they had a good attack they were able to compensate. The thing is that a team, no matter how strong it is, is not invincible for long, so the luck that Leverkusen had last season, they will not have the same luck this season. So I expected this type of result. With this defeat of Leverkusen, I see a great chance for Bayern to be champion.
Today Bayern will play against SC Freiburg, which is historically an opponent that has not been able to win games against Bayern since 2021, so I see Bayern managing to leave this game with 3 points and would be paving the way to stay at the top of the league until they become champions.
