Is there anyone here who watched first ODI match among Sri Lanka squad against South Africa squad that was played today?
Outcome of this squad was totally unexpected because before the start of this match I feel that South Africa A was emerged victorious in this match simply because their squad have much caliber and also their teams experience. But their squad disappointed me also their fans members. Sri Lanka A squad has begun this match first with batting Inning by collecting 298 scores off 50 overs inning which seem that this Defeating target was very challenging and hard to achieve it. Both Nuwanidu Fernando and Kamil Mishara fully supported their squad to secure this victory by displaying amazing performance in batting and managed 97 and 71 scores respectively.
Sri Lanka A Outstanding performance winning the match by 93 runs against South Africa A. The Player Of The Match is Nuwanidu Fernando for his amazing batting performance scored 97 runs from 101 balls, unfortunately missed a well deserved century by 3 runs short but reached the team total 290 plus runs. While chasing down the target South Africa A only manged to score 205 runs all out. First of all, they had given a very big total to the South Africa A team. Another thing I have to mention is that the South Africa A team had given away a lot of extras. That’s why the total looked way bigger than it should have been. The discipline was not there from them.
On the other hand, the Sri Lanka team performed really well. They did a very good job of bowling out the South African team so cheaply. Only Tony from the South African team was able to score a half-century. The other players were unable to do much. And he also did not have good support from the other end. And South Africa A team lost wickets at regular intervals. Especially the middle order of the South African team absolutely collapsed. Fernando must feel bad because of missing out on a century. But his contribution was very important for his team to win this match.
