This doesn’t really answers OP’s question as he is not asking about how to identify a fraudulent casino but he is interested to know the excuses they give to justify their scams.
Besides, scammers already know about this tactic. So, they will let you withdraw small amounts to gain your trust. Troubles usually arise when large amounts of money are involved.
This seems to be the same as what my friend experienced, where he got a small win and could easily withdraw the win without any problems, and indeed he himself had met the requirements such as fulfilling the KYC submitted by the casino. But when he got a big win and withdrew it he found a problem with his win that the casino had not approved or paid, waiting for a while losing patience he finally decided to communicate with the casino staff and for no apparent reason the staff said "your account has been frozen" this is annoying, but the funny thing is my friend tried to talk by saying that the win should be shared with him and the result that happened was that his account could be reopened but only half of the winnings were withdrawn.

With this case I was a little surprised why he froze my friend's account but when he said to divide his win in half the casino staff agreed, this was a little strange and annoying until my friend no longer visited the casino.
