I couldn't agree more with those gamblers saying that they gamble just for fun because the truth is that people gamble in the hope of multiplying their money. But from what we have witnessed and seeing the sentiment of the majority, we definitely see that they feel disappointed when losing. Which is not really the behavior of gamblers who just think about entertaining themselves. A real gambler never seeks winning but pleasure and fun.

Hearing the news that some people committed suicide and crimes can also prove that my statement is right. Maybe I'm wrong, but what I've seen is enough to say that gamblers are here for money, not for fun.

I also wanted to hear opinions from others.
There are a very limited number of gamblers who gamble for pleasure or fun, but most gamble with the hope of making money. There are also many who gamble for fun in the beginning but later on when they win, they try to make money from it again and again and continue to gamble which later turns into an addiction. Due to excessive gambling addiction, many people become depressed when they lose gambling. Depression also causes behavioral problems in people.

I saw a shopkeeper a few days ago who was betting on a game of cricket. The team he was siding with was almost losing which is why we see aggressive behavior in him. In that condition, he started misbehaving with us and others when we went to buy anything from his shop. Maybe he loses his temper and starts misbehaving with people as a result of losing his gambling.
