I really don't know if I'm qualified to comment on the POS train, but I'm a holder of a few POS coins and it may actually be the future of crypto currency. At this point I can't afford ASICs and the $50+/month in electricity is killing me (and my fiancee is definitely not down with it either.)

I don't believe planting trees will help. A low-energy future path seems extremely enticing. It may not be as wonderful to kiddies that are leeching electricity off their parents with the brand new gaming rig they got for xmas and no access to cash, but I think we're a bit beyond that point.

This may be meme-based but so is doge and doge is not a joke at this point. It may not take itself seriously but the impact upon the world and the financial markets is deadly serious. This isn't a project. This isn't a whim. Things have gotten real and we need to treat it as such.
