The month of August 2024 will be memorable for every Bengali. After the independence war of 1971, in 2024, the independence war had started again. The war started mainly around the quota movement and ended with the fall of the dictatorial government. Independence was celebrated with the resignation of the government on 5 August at the expense of much blood of the students. Then another danger started. Indian government releases water from Farakka dam without any warning. Due to this, many districts of Bangladesh went under. Millions of people are disoriented. Some have lost their houses, some have lost their lives. This August will be remembered for the whole life by every Bengali.
Yes 2024 is a bloody year for the Bengali nation. Dictator Sheikh Hasina made the country into a state where people took away their rights from freedom. People could not speak or do anything as they wanted. However, student activists have once again freed this country from dictators by shedding their own fresh blood. Man's imagined flood was this flood planned from India. Maybe the Indian government drowned the people of Bangladesh with water to please Sheikh Hasina. How tyrannical the government can be happy to act as it is. However, even if it is a human-made flood, we will accept this flood as a blessing because it is said in the hadith that if the country is free from dictatorship, the country will be completely cleaned by the flood rains and the country will be re-created which will be much better than before.
