I'm not surprised that Manchester United is still finding it hard to compete in the Premier League again this season. I know it is too early to judge Erik Ten Hag, but I think he is not good enough to continue as Manchester United's head coach, even though he won two trophies in his first two seasons at Manchester United. Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired as Manchester United's head coach, Erik Ten Hag is the only manager who has lasted long as Manchester United's manager, and he signed the players he wanted, but yet no positive change has happened in Manchester United. Even though Manchester United management gives Erik Ten Hag huge funds to utilize in the transfer window, Erik Ten Hag will still not bring back the glory days to Manchester United because he keeps singing the players he worked with when he was Ajax's head coach.
I think the Manchester United board have patience with Erik Ten Hag. Well, I like the fact that they are being very patient with him but I hope it doesn't affect the club on the long run, I'm not insisting that they should sack him but they should be sure that they're making the right decision if the team still keep having bad record up till the middle of the season and the board still decide to retain him by January, I just hope they're not at the bottom of the table by then cause the Manchester United I watched against Brighton and Liverpool are still not free from the errors that comes with the previous season. Well like you said it's still too early so I won't speak too much negativity about Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United but the best thing the coach has to do is looking for the perfect strategy that would suit his team and benching the necessary players that are killing their game plan cause it's obvious that most of those players are really planning on getting the coach sacked, players like Rashford, Casimiro, and even the goalkeeper Onana is not left out cause he makes some unnecessary errors too.
Mehn why is it always the coach that is the problem? If a player makes terrible mistakes, it's always the coach to be blamed for losing the match. We all saw how the Manchester United players were full of mistakes, players we do not expect to be seeing such mistakes from. Imagine losing so much ball in your central midfield as a team what do you expect when the midfield is weak? Of course, your opponent is going to utilize those opportunities and shoot on target. That is what has been the case of Manchester United. The only mistake Ten Hag is making is the fact that he has refused to sell those fucking players on the team. The players you mentioned should all be sold and replaced because I don't see any good contribution from them if not laspes.
