Well, it looks like this has to be done. It's not just a change in players, but I don't think this club can continue to keep Ten Hag if bad results repeat themselves this season. I think the root of the problems at this club lies in the existence of a competition system between players within the squad itself. All players compete to attract more attention to get more plays or something like that. This competition brings quite visible pressure. Where sometimes the players seem to play uncomfortably. And sometimes their teamwork doesn't seem so good. The chemistry in the team looks quite weak. Maybe if there are big changes in the squad then there will indeed be a better improvement. But let's see first whether MU will improve this season or not. The season is still long and I think we have to give this squad more time.
Ten Hag has had a very difficult start and as expected he has received a lot of negativity about it, negative statistics are published where he is the second worst coach in the club's history who has played more than 100 matches, where the percentage of lost matches is about 28%, and bookmakers are giving low odds (about 4) that he has the highest chance of being the first coach to be sacked in the new season in the Premier League. So if the team does not start winning, anything can happen.
Ten Hag should have been fired before the season started. Then the new coach would have had ample time and opportunity to work and experiment with the squad. At the moment I don't think Manchester United's performance will improve even if Ten Hag is sacked. Even if a new coach takes charge of this troubled team, the performance of this team will remain erratic for some time.
But if Ten Hag can't do well then maybe Manchester United management can decide to fire him quickly. Manchester United's performance is very poor with Ten Hag. He even changes the match strategy every match. It is difficult to predict in which match this team will perform well. Betting on Manchester United and Chelsea matches is very risky.
I don't think that Ten Hag has any strategy in mind or to use and thay is why you see that he is always changing strategy and making a mess of the players on the field as of they don't know what they are doing.
It will be better if the management fires Ten Hag and try someone but if they don't have any good coach in mind that is better than Ten Hag I don't see any reason why they should fire him. All they can do is to give him more time to see if he will improve and look for a good coach to replace him if he doesn't.
