What is certain is that this decision was taken after careful consideration and management still gives Ten Hag a chance, Manchester United's problems are still the same as last season such as consistency this means that Ten Hag actually has the ability but he needs to overcome some problems to achieve the best results. Manchester United have spent £214 million in the transfer window and most of it has been allocated to defenders but after 3 matches we have not seen optimal results well, this will be an important task for Ten Hag.
If being horrible in the league and Europe and winning a league cup is what Manchester United owners and fans want then they can continue with Ten Hag, but if they want to be a team that will terrorise opponents like Manchester City, and Liverpool are doing then they will have to let go of Ten Hag. He is not the right manager for United and I don't know how the fans don't see it.
Manchester United may not have a team to win every game in the league or win the Champions League, but the team they have should be able to play well and win games consistently.
If you watch the game against Liverpool very closely, you'll see that the team is not ready at all and it's p the fault of the coach. If a midfielder gets the ball, there is nobody making runs in behind the defence and nobody making himself an obvious option to receive the pass. Also, their pressing is very poor, its like they were comfortable with allowing Liverpool to hold the ball.
