Bayern management continues to experiment with risky coaching positions such as trusting Tuchel last season and this time trusting Kompany, to be honest, looking at Kompany's history, i'm not sure he will be able to bring Bayern to the top, he is still quite young and has never won a trophy with the teams he coached before, i don't know how Bayern management sees the potential of a coach now.
Another interesting fact, Dortmund is also trying to use the services of a young coach, the trend in coaches in the Bundesliga is young coaches.
Tuchel wasn't as big of a deal as this one, I mean he was the guy who won the UCL with Chelsea by beating City on the finals, there is no doubt that he was the right choice and I believe that they did right by getting him. I am not saying the result was good, the result was terrible as we have seen, but when they were getting him, the idea wasn't wrong and looked like a good one.
I fear that the problem that they have this season is different, they got someone who did not manage any big teams before and that causes Kompany to be not that much liked at all, we are looking at someone who is doing not that great and they hired him to do great suddenly. I am not saying that he will be horrible, just saying that Tuchel and Kompany had different backgrounds when they joined, there aren't that many managers in the world who won UCL before, and the ones who won it do get hired easier, Kompany had absolutely nothing to show for before he joined Bayern compared to that.
