Even though Shiba Inu was one of pioneer of the terms of "meme coins" and people have lot of faith in this project. But no matter what they have been done, at the end it's just a meme coin where the sole reason this project even was at the top just because of the hype and influence from other big people. And for now, with so many meme coins out there, the big people there would probably only hype those new one.
If you have to consider one of pioneer in meme coin which is Doge then Shiba inu, and if a meme coin will competitor for Doge in the future also which is Shiba inu, peoples trust those coins although these are meme coins, but in my thinking these project will long live, these will not dead in shortly, Doge will never because it's proved that it's a good coin for long time leading in the market with a lot of big coins.Agree to some extent but i think there is no comparison of doge and shiba inu in terms of their prices, doge is trading at .1$ and the all time high of doge coin is almost .7$ which is huge and we can expect dogecoin to cross 1$ in future but we can’t expect shiba inu to cross 1$ as it is trading very low but both are listed on binance so we can trade in both they will live long by looking on current trends of market. Better to invest in dogecoin instead of shiba inu, doge will give you more profit.
It's an older brother of sorts, I do agree with you and would go for DOGE too, if I had a choice between the two
