I agree that a deadline is a deadline and that everyone must comply with it.

If I or someone else would buy a rebuy in this round after the deadline, we would of course get 0 points this round. But we are not out of LMS. Then we also have to pay rebuy for the next round. There will be no benefits if people change their mind and want to rebuy. There will only be more money in the pot😁

By the way, why can un_rank pay almost 24 hours after the deadline? Shouldn't we follow the deadline? It should be the same for everyone..

I will talk this out with Trofo, I'm still leaning towards not allowing it.
What might happen is that somebody initially sees 25 players playing, decides he doesn't want to participate, then all of a sudden a round when 15 people drop out happens.

That guy now wants back in, and it is cheap for him to do that.

I'm aware that you are asking to let you back in after only 1 game has been played at a heavy cost as well, so maybe we can find a solution for these situations. After all, we want to put more money into the prize pot and this would put you under a decent disadvantage to be considered.

Regarding un_rank, both him and Hhampuz said they will play but asked for some time to process the payment. Hhampuz did it on time, un_rank as well because the deadline I gave them in the thread was Thursday EOD.
We want to help people in such situations, as long as we know they want back in we will try to accomodate these requests.
We tagged you here and I even asked Trofo to reach out on Telegram because I knew you'd want back in, any confirmation from your side would have been accepted - but now this puts us in a tricky situation and creates a precedent that will be biting us in the ass later on.

I understand you perfectly, this week I had to submit while driving on subway on the way to big exhibition. 7 minute drive in total and only time I knew I had that will be before deadline. I spent it answering BSFL instead of preparing for the first meeting.

That is why we have that long window before deadline so you can plan accordingly. It isn't easy but we must have the rules we have in order to stop any attempts at manipulation. Same goes for LMS this round. We discussed it and you are officially out. From our interactions in the past we believe you are stand up guy and we wouldn't have problem bending the rules for you if there wasn't that pesky precedent thing to think about. If we allow it once we have to allow it in the future and I can guarantee 100% someone would come along and use that in his advantage.

We are adding the rules all the time and trying to make competition as fair and good as possible. We are also always trying to help people but that usually works only before the deadline. We didn't add it to the rules but we mentioned several time that if someone has something that will stop him from submitting he can let us know in advance and we will try to postpone games. When I say something I am thinking about heart surgery not taking a trip to see relatives

Also I have already paid LMS buyback for one person here in the forum since he couldn't do it by himself. Key thing is always that we are only able to accommodate players to the point where it isn't breaking the rules. For instance if you told me or cryptofrka beforehand, I am travelling and will not be online is there some way to take care of LMS buyback if I need it, we would have paid it up for you or gave you an extension.
