I will say it is not a bad result because Arsenal played with 10 players while Brighton played full squad and still Arsenal managed to draw this game at the end of the match, which is not bad. The only time we can criticise Arsenal is when they play full squad and are still unable to win the game because Brighton are not strong compared to Arsenal's performance currently.
Arsenal wasn't prepared for what was coming, they never expected to have a draw in that match because who would have expected rice to get suspended because of that little error but the refree took it personal and send him off but regardless, nothing bad or spoil. Manchester United had mztch with them at home and they couldn't beat them but Arsenal did but the error made it equal and it's fair I must say, there is another opportunity in the second leg.
However, Arsenal still manage to make it tough for Brighton even though they were not a full squad. The thing is that the luck was not by their side and it surprised everything, but we fans need to consider before we judge. But I think our eyes are always blind when our favourite club plays; we only want them to win regardless of how the condition will be, and that is why everyone keeps saying they were surprised by the result of this match, forgetting that Arsenal played with players.
Only two team are ahead of Arsenal and they are just two points, there is still time for Arsenal to make ammends to the last mistake. Arteta must address that mistake Rice did, he wasn't expected it but it can be avoided in the first place and his behavior triggered the referee to give him second yellow card. If they had won that game, they would have been sitting among the top 3 with 9 points but they now have to husle for extra 2 points for and hope the rest draw their next games.
